To be honest, I cant believe its been a year since my prom happened, and seeing people getting ready for this night makes me cringe a little. I think the best part of prom is not necessarily the prom itself: the best part is the preparation. There aren’t that many events in which you can go all-out for, and prom is one that you can definitely do that.

I remember last year for MY prom I went through every website I knew and made a folder with the ones I liked the most. It took me a while to decide which one I wanted, but eventually I ended up buying THIS ONE from Revolve (and I loved it! I still do. ). Click here if you want to see the pictures 🙂

This year, even though I’m too big for prom, I’ve done the same reseach, for you! Note that if you’re not going to prom anymore, like me, these dresses are just as nice for any other occasions coming your way.

I’ve sectioned these brands into 3 categories:

  1. low-price Brands, around 50$-150$ a dress.
  2. Mid-price, around 150$ – 400$ a dress.
  3. Other brands, which have a variety of prices.

After that you can find a Shoe section and Accessories section. Later on I will post an article dedicated for Prom Beauty only! (hair&makeup).

let’s beginnnnnn

As I said before, low price brands are between 50$ to 150$ a dress (when most of them dont reach the 150 mark).

If you click the Brands name, you can see all the dresses they have to offer, but below each brand I added the ones I liked the most.

Missguided’s low prices is only the cherry on top of the cake: they have super nice clothing, including occasion dresses. Most of them are pretty simple, but they sit really nice on the body. I know that silky dresses are a very popular prom thing and they have a TON. Quality is not ‘top’ , but is manageable.

I think that by now its a pretty much known fact that ASOS has everything you can think of. Therefore, Prom dresses, are included. You can scroll through hundreds of dresses (-or jumpsuits), for a good price.

Mid-price brands are between 120$ to 400$ a dress. These brands serve good quality, special designs and nice fits, but don’t go into the LUXURY section. In my opinion, if you feel like spending a bit “more” for prom, making it a bit more special, these are perfect: you don’t get completely bankrupted, while buying something special.

as you may have already seen on the blog, my love for revolve is quite Big. I buy a lot of my clothes from them & im almost always happy about it. My personal prom dress is from revolve, and if I had prom this year aswell, I would probably get my dress from Revolve, again. They have special dresses, are super cool & always on Trend.

I think the highlighy of reformation dresses is mainly the “perfect fit”. They dont go too crazy with design, but they suit your body like a glove. Reformation has great stuff, including evening dresses.

here are a bunch of dresses that I liked & just didn’t know how to categorise them.
